Woodland Management

Woodland Policy and Tree Work Requests

The majority of the woodland in and around Keaver Drive is covered by a Tree Protection Order (TPO).

In this section you will find our Policy for the management of the woodland areas around Keaver Drive, together with the process for requesting tree work to be undertaken.

To conform with Woodland Trust and Surrey Heath Borough Council (SHBC) guidelines we undertake regular arboricultural surveys. The planned schedule for these can be found below.

Under the terms and of the original planning application for Keaver Drive, the management company has a legal obligation to ensure that the woodland areas are inspected regularly to assess their condition and identify any health and safety risks. These assessments are undertaken for us by a qualified Arboriculturist who provides us with a formal report. The formal report defines current and future management plans for the woodland areas and will also identify any “high risk” issues that will then be dealt with accordingly. The latest version of this report can be made available on request.
